The Student Health Center, located in the Forum (lower south end), is an on-campus facility staffed by registered nurses, who provide health-related services to Grinnell students. A local physician serves as medical adviser to the Health Center and a number of medical facilities in Grinnell and nearby areas are used by the center.

Registered nurses treat minor illnesses and injuries and assess a student's need to be seen by a physician. The nurses are available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
