Students Supporting Students

Students can be a tremendous support to other students when it comes to issues of mental health and wellness. Over time, various student groups have formed on campus to work on these issues. If you're interested in joining or starting such a group, contact the SGA Student Services Coordinator.

One group nationally provides support and a platform for students to assist students around these issues -- http://www.activemindsoncampus.org/

Of course, if you are concerned about yourself or a friend, you can call Poweshiek County Mental Health Center 24 hours daily (641-236-6137).
