Many excellent resources exist online providing information about various mental health concerns. Here are two reputable sites for further reading:

http://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/index.shtml/ -- The National Insitute of Mental Health is one of the best resources available online. It has comprehensive information about all common mental disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, ADHD, eating disorders, and much more. It also has information about suicide prevention.

http://www.jedfoundation.org/ -- The Jed Foundation is one of the nation’s leading organizations working to prevent suicide and promote mental health among college students. They are guided by an expert board of mental health professionals in efforts to identify the underlying causes of suicide and produce effective prevention, awareness and intervention programs.

http://www.supportafriendiowa.com -- A great resource with information about how to support friends who have mental illnesses.
