Advising Workshop for New(er) Faculty

If you are relatively new to advising or just want to brush up on your advising strategies, we would like to invite you to a workshop on best advising practices. This workshop is co-sponsored by The Associate Dean's Office, Academic Advising and the Registrar. Kathleen Skerrett, Joyce Stern, and Cheryl Chase will cover a variety of advising topics of interest to new advisers: 'individually-mentored' advising strategies, course planning, advising resources, reading student files, review of academic policies which affect advising, and typical advising challenges.
