JOURNALS - ALL DISCIPLINES
Clarion: A Women's Critical Journal
Clarion is an undergraduate and graduate student-led, annual online journal whose purpose is to provide a forum for publication of critical papers with the central theme involving women's writing, literary women writers, and women's issues in literature. Hosted by the Letters Division of Mills College, the journal promotes the publication of thoughtful, critical expression of women's discourse as it relates to literary and analytical research. Undergraduate, graduate, and independent scholars of any gender are welcome to submit essays. Guidelines for submission may be found at http://www.mills.edu/clarion.

Pittsburgh Undergraduate Review http://www.honorscollege.pitt.edu/~pur/ The Pittsburgh Undergraduate Review accepts original scholarship in all disciplines from undergraduates around the country. "At least two referees with expertise in fields related to the topic of each prospective article are chosen from a pool of faculty members at the University of Pittsburgh and surrounding institutions. These referees evaluate the paper with regard to originality and clarity, as well as quality of reasoning and research."

JOURNALS - HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL STUDIES The Gaines Junction http://gainesjunction.tamu.edu This is an undergraduate interdisciplinary journal of history at Texas A&M. It is student authored reviewed, edited, and published twice a year.

The Oswald Review http://www.usca.sc.edu/english/pubs/oswald/SUBMIS1.HTM The Oswald Review is a refereed journal of undergraduate criticism and research in the discipline of English. Published annually, the journal accepts submissions in conformance with the guidelines published on its web site. Deadline: February 5 (or nearest business day) for submissions; March 31 for notification of decision by editorial board.
Journal of Undergraduate Study & Independent Research http://www.jusir.org/main/about.html "The Journal of Undergraduate Study & Independent Research, or JUSIR, is a non- profit privately-funded science journal based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A." The JUSIR publishes research in the natural sciences, psychology, engineering, and sociology.
JOURNALS - NATURAL SCIENCES AND MATHEMATICS JYI Resources: Undergraduate Publications http://www.jyi.org/resources/ugradPubs.html This site provides links to several publications, including: international journals such as the Journal of Young Investigators, Caltech Undergraduate Research Journal (which publishes work of students everywhere), and the Journal of Undergraduate Study and Independent Research; and national journals such as the Crux Mathematicorum, Journal of Undergraduate Science, McGill Journal of Medicine, National Undergraduate Research Clearinghouse, Furman University Electronic Journal of Undergraduate Mathematics (not a reviewed journal, but submissions must have a faculty sponsor), Journal of Psychological Inquiry, and the Journal of Psychology and the Behavioral Sciences. This site also provides links to directories of undergraduate research journals.

Butler University Undergraduate Research Conference http://www.bsu.edu/research/pubs/htmlnewsltr/dec2001/undgresconf.htm Brings together undergraduate researchers and faculty from throughout the Midwest in all disciplines. The conference will be held on April 11, 2003. All students and faculty sponsors must register via the Web at www.butler.edu/urc by February 22.
