GRINNELL SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA TO PERFORM SATURDAY
GRINNELL, IA.-- The Grinnell Symphony Orchestra will perform in concert on Sat., Mar. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Sebring-Lewis Hall of the Bucksbaum Center for the Arts on the Grinnell College campus.
The orchestra of student, faculty, and community instrumentalists will perform a program that features soloists: "Concerto in F Major" with second-year student Hannah Hagen-Atwell on oboe; "Pavane, Op. 50" with Kimberly Fitch, mezzo-soprano; "Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra" with senior Bryan Williams on trombone; and "Suite from II Pastor Fido."
Randal Buikema, lecturer in music, will conduct the performance, which is free and open to the public; no tickets are required. The Bucksbaum Center for the Arts is located 1108 Park St. on the Grinnell College campus.
