The mission of the Career Development Office is to provide a set of educational experiences, partnerships, and services that affords students an opportunity to design effective transitions from Grinnell College to careers and post-graduate study. Our programs and services empower all students and alumni to develop successful life-long career management skills by increasing access to meaningful internships and post-graduate opportunities and by building networks of relational bridges among faculty, employers, alumni, families, and the College Community.

Graduate and Professional School Fair
Grinnell College Campus Tuesday, October 14 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Check the updated LIST of the schools who are attending!

Pre-Professional Development Experience Program
Meet with a Grinnell Alum during fall break for single-day job shadowing. You will be granted access to Alumni contacts in a variety of fields. Arrange your experience to fit your existing travel plans for the break. e.g. Connect with Grinnell alumni in your hometown. A waiver/release will also be required for the program. The CDO will track and recognize student participants. Gain practical insight, network with professionals in your field of interest, and explore your career options! Simply complete the interest form linked below to get started.
