Yoga & Music at the Faulconer Gallery

Take a noon break in the Faulconer Gallery, and practice yoga with Jennifer Mavin and enjoy our exhibitions, "Body/Image and Ukucwebezela: To Shine Contemporary Zulu Ceramics."

Jennifer Mavin engages participants in a warm and welcoming style of yoga accessible to all ages, abilities, and experience levels. She believes strongly in the power of yoga to transform individuals through breathing, strength, flexibility, mental focus, body awareness, and self acceptance. Free and open to the public. No experience necessary. Mats provided.

Enjoy an evening of music and art in the Faulconer Gallery! The Grinnell College Woodwind Quintet will perform works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Danzi, and more. Formed in the fall of 2006, the quintet is composed of Hannah Hagen-Atwell ('10, oboe), Amy Henning ('10, clarinet), Emma Jerndal ('09, flute), Paul Kramer ('09, bassoon), and Laura Rein ('09, French horn). Refreshments will be served.
