Stewart and Hargadine Bring Home Victories at Cornell

For the second straight week, Willie Stewart '08 brings home the top throw in the javelin, winning the event with a toss of 176'04". Stewart led a handful of Pioneers who made the trip to the Cornell Invitational to compete in different field events.

Mike Hargadine '09 took fourth in the javelin (154'11"), while Joey Snyder '10 and Bryan Berube '07 finished fifth and seventh, respectively. Snyder also placed took eighth in the discus (130'01"), while Curtis McCoy '10 placed 11th (118'03"). Hargadine brought home the second victory for the Pioneers, winning the pole vault at 11'11.75".

The Pioneers return to action next Saturday when they host the Dennis Young Classic with start time slated for 9:00 a.m.
