After an 85 on Saturday the first-year capped off a strong performance in his first collegiate competition. Michael Inman '09 shot rounds of 86 and 87 to finish in a tie for 26th, while Carlos Lu '10 brought home a 33rd-place finish with rounds of 92 and 85. R.J. Trek Langenhan '07 bounced back from his opening round 101 to fire an 85 on Saturday and finish in 41st.

Monmouth shot a 632 to finish four strokes ahead of Iowa Wesleyan for the team title. Iowa Wesleyan, however, did land the individual champion as Jordan Crampton shot an opening round of 78 on Friday before following it up with a 69 on Saturday to clinch the title.

Grinnell returns to action this weekend when they travel to Storm Lake, Iowa, to compete in the Buena Vista Invitational. Tee-times for Friday are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
