I am a sophomore born in Norway and have spent my life on the move
around the world before settling down in Pennsylvania. I am a Biology
major and look forward to declaring a double major in French. I am also
a part of the Women's varsity swim team and a Student Advisor (SA) on
North campus. I love sports, drawing, reading, video games, music,
traveling, and some good quality conversations. Nature is also a big
part of my life and thus every year I go on a hiking trip, my last being the Camino de Santiago in Spain.

Yuyang Fan is a second year physics major from Nanjing, China. He likes talking with people and playing his bamboo flutes that he brought from the other side of the world. He also plays sports such as basketball and football quite often. (Unfortunately his love for playing football recently resulted in a broken foot). He comes from a big city with a population of over six million but he loves the small town life here in the middle of the cornfield. Though he actually joined SAA by chance, SAA has now become a big part of his life at Grinnell.
