The Class of 2011 comes from 46 states, the District of Columbia, and 20 other nations. In addition:

  • 55% of the new students are women and 45% are men
  • 20% of the new students are U.S. students of color
  • 14% of the new students are citizens of 20 countries other than the U.S.
  • 15% of the new students are first-generation college students

11 different languages are spoken by members of the Class of 2011 including:
