Grinnell College Preschool Accredited by the NAEYC Academy for Early Childhood Program Accreditation

The Grinnell College Preschool serves both Grinnell College and the community of Grinnell. The program helps children develop a positive self-image and learn basic skills necessary to successful school performance, particularly through socialization with other children, creative play opportunities, and experience with the basic materials and media of creative self-expression. The program is committed to providing an innovative curriculum, developmentally appropriate materials and activities and a low adult/child ratio. Grinnell College students also gain experience with children through class assignments, volunteer opportunities and as a part of the teaching team. Grinnell College Preschool provides equal care to all children regardless of race, color, religion, origin or disability.
