Congratulations to Graciela Paz Arias, winner of the Psychology Excellence Prize.
Graciela's excellence in coursework, service to the department, and community
involvement and leadership (past president of psychology SEPC, secretary for Psi Chi, Watson Fellow) is noteworthy. The
Psychology Excellence Prize is awarded to the senior psychology major who notably
demonstrated excellence in voluntary engagement with and commitment to the values
of the discipline, such as in a particular research project, application of psychology, or
outstanding involvement in departmental activities. The prize of $150 is drawn on
funds given by donors and alumni who designate their gift for psychology's use.
:::
