The PSP seeks to encourage and stimulate the incorporation of conflict and conflict resolution studies into existing courses and the creation of new courses on these topics.
Following up on informal faculty discussions on interdisciplinary linkages between peace, sustainability, and social justice, a summer 2006 faculty seminar began work on a proposal for a broadly interdisciplinary Peace and Conflict Studies Concentration.
Recently, there have been an increasing number of courses offered which relate to peace and conflict studies.
