The Grinnell-in-London Program is located at the Florida State University London Centre, 103 Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3LA, England. The Florida State University London Centre is home not only to FSU and Grinnell but also to many other programs including Dartmouth, Bucknel, and Temple. Students have access to the site by means of a personalized identity key, 24 hrs a day, and 7 days a week. The location is excellent, not far from the British Museum or from the University of London where students have union cards allowing them to participate in various activities.
Grinnell-in-London has an office for the administrators, 1 classroom, a small library, and a small student lounge. There are 2 computer labs, both of which are open 24-hours a day, with a total of 41 computers. E-mail is available at the GIL site free of charge and the entire building is wireless. The labs are shared by almost all the schools that use the FSU site, and consequently are often very crowded. Students are given a network account (like your NT account at Grinnell).
In the above photo, the sun is illuminating only the door to the Grinnell-in-London office. In the second photo, the Grinnell-in-London site is ahead on the left hand side of the street.
Take the Tube to Tottenham Court Road station. Then take Exit 3. Follow the signs for the British Museum. The site is a big yellow and white building on the north (left) hand side of Great Russell Street as you walk toward the British Museum.
