I improved their artifact storage. This included repairing any broken pottery, bone, or ivory pieces, cleaning, and some archiving. The collections are from the area loosely described as the 'holy land,' so I was able to work hundreds of artifacts that I had never been in contact with. These ranged from ceramic lamps to glass vessels. The organization is very small so I was allowed much more 'hands on' experience than I would in most other museums. Before my internship I was fairly sure that I wanted to curate. Now I am positive that this is what I want to do.
